Having had a series of PC Phones, this one is the one with the problems. Although I had no problem pairing it to my I-Drive, the bluetooth connection comes and goes every couple of minutes. I have tried turning off the display, lengthening the power off cycle, and even installed Jetware. But to no avail.

Also, each time it reconnects, it then downloads my contacts, last dialed calls etc. But then a couple of minutes later when the connection is lost, all the information goes with it and it starts again. This is frustrating where you want to redial a number you just spoke to, it disappears and then you have to run through I-Drive menu to get it started again.

Is there something I should be doing here?

Hasn't anybody had similar experience?

Reading here it seems your phone upload to the I-Drive and the info stays there. With mine it comes and goes. The last dialed numbers or contact ID on incoming calls doesnt work unless the call was made just before I turned the car off and the bluetooth had not had an opportunity to disconnect and lose the data.

I must say my Trinity works great. Do you have the latest software in the phone and in the car? The latest software int the phone also enables GPS wich I was kind of suprised about.

thats great to hear, you have given me hope !!!!

My phone has the latest updated software in it but my car has the software it came with as of March 2005. I have booked it in for an upgrade to the latest version of I-Drive on Tuesday and I hope that it might make a difference.

Is your phone standard, does it upload your contacts to the I-Drive or have you needed to use another programme eg. Jetware?

Do the contacts stay on the I-Drive or do they disappear if you have an interruption of the bloothtooth signal?

You input here is most valuable
