I was wondering the same thing a couple of days ago, I just purchased the LG Dare (only because of the network) and it reads my text messages to me over the bluetooth connection. That got me thinking if it does that why not stream my audio over BT aswell. Still searching...

You would need a bluetooth 'dongle' like this
And a bluetooth receiver like this if you have an integrated ipod adapter in your e60...http://www.provantage.com/anycom-cc3317-43~4ANYC023.htm
If you have another bluetooth capable MP3 player/phone you only need the second device and you should even be able to control the device\iphone using iDrive!
I haven't tried this out yet as I haven't got an ipod adapter fitted to the car yet, I have the anycom receiver.

Please explain this. Do you mean that you can actually SEE text messages on the idrive screen? If so, you have to let me in on the secret. I have the older iphone and I'd LOVE to be able to see text messages since I send/receive upwards of 30 msgs per day.
