Bluetooth installation
#1
Hi, I have an early e60 with no bluetooth or sat nav. Can anyone please lead me on the way to installing a Bluetooth system capable of utilising speakers and steering wheel. I have thought about a parrot system but would prefer a system that can be operated through idrive.

I have an 08/03 2004 E60 and am interested in this as well. From the prior posts I have read we need to buy a new TCU. From the dealer around $1500 and on the net maybe $350. Any other comments welcome. On the I-pod retrofit, I have read that it works even though the documentation the dealers have say 09/03 production is the earliest.

Besides replacing the TCU, you can also look into the BTUM which utilizes the CPT 9000 Moto phone settings to provide BT in your car. With the BTUM, you will need to buy the CPT 9000 dock and cradle and then the BTUM module.
Here is a link to Circle BMW parts department that gives you some additional information.
