I LOVVVVVVVVE THE Q BEST PHONE OUT THERE
Yeah, I have been enjoying mine too.
I used an 8 digit passcode, but I'm not sure if the devices are just ignoring anything past 4 or not.
I tried to pair it as a stereo headset, the Q finds the car, but then the E60 fails because it doesn't support A2DP. FYI - the Q is a BT 1.2 device and supports A2DP. A lot of people on the forum were stating it wouldn't be prudent to implement A2DP over 1.2 bandwidth. Thankfully, this didn't stop people like Motorola.
BMW - you supposedly had or have some A2DP code for the 5 series to support that Samsung phone in Korea - how about baking that profile into the next update?

The new Blackberry (8700) synchs right away and shows me all my addresses on the screen, as well as last redial etc. Never any issue, and appears to be a much better signal or reception through the car antenna than stand alone. I would recommend it.

Don't misunderstand - the Q syncs with no problems either.
I was trying to sync it in a way that the Blackberry can't support (and neither can the E60 for that matter) - in fact there are only 4 or 5 phone-like devices that support or can be made to support A2DP.

I just got the Motorola Q... My 530 seems to be recognizing the phone and the phone recognizes the car, but the car is asking for a pass key... the phone does not ask me to set a pass key...
