Bluetooth cannot be activated in iDrive 05' E61

HAHAHA, yep, like I said, they wanted to charge me $1400 at the dealer to replace and code my TCU. I found a TCU on eBay for $98 used, with a 6 month warranty (long past now) and got it installed and coded for ~$100, not bad. There's a reason they call them "stealers"

The stealer in maidenhead refused to accept that they had performed any action but did tell the mulf module connector one pin was loose and they would charge 700quid to fix it because they were not trained in repairing pins.

So finally figured that the ulf module was dead, you can tell because, there is no red lights seen coming from it. I unclipped all the connectors and unscrew the torx screws. Looked at the pins and one of them first column, second row was loose and after looking at the pcd found it was disconnected. I used a soldering iron to drop some solder to join the pin to the pcs an hey presto the dead ulf module now works!

Is this still live? Im having the same issue with "Mobile phone not installed" and my car definitely has bluetooth (I used it), but now its gone.

Can anyone help me?
