After many years with an original Treo I made the switch to a BlackBerry yesterday and everything worked as expected except that I noticed that my address book only downloaded A thru N and R! I deleted the "device" twice and re-paired both times with the same result - A - N & R :'( no luck...
Does anyone have any suggestions?
As always, TIA
Cheers,

Do you have any idea how many contacts you have in the BB? I remember another member here hit what seemed to be a limitation as to how many entries (or how much memory) the contact list in the car could handle. I haven't fully checked to see if all my contacts transfer (although sometimes it seems to take some time to get them all sent over) but maybe you're hitting a limit?
Also, do you even have any contacts that begin with O P or Q? (That would explain why you jump from N to R...)
By the way, there is a setting on the 8700c (that doesn't seem to work on my car) that tells the BB to only transfer contacts from the "hotlist" which I think are names that are more frequently used. Unfortunately for me, even if this worked, I'm not sure I'd want it. This setting seems to be missing from the Pearl (on Cingular) that I've been playing with the last day or so.

Rudy has it right, under your OPTIONS(the wrench), goto BLUETOOTH, goto OPTIONS, and change ADRESS BOOK TRANSFER to ALL ENTRIES

I think there is a memory limitation on the E60 that limits how many entries transfer. It sounds like Bokke has the BB set for all entries (mine is set that way too) but he's hitting the limits of the RAM in the car.
Today, I looked at my alphabetical list and it stops before Z (I think around N or or P, I already forgot). One thing's seems clear, I don't think you can't blame the BlackBerry on this one...
