I have reviewed a few threads but cant seem to find an answer. My 545i was one of the first to arrive in the states. Got the car in nov/dec '03. I believe it was built sep/oct '03. Anybody know if I can do the bluetooth retrofit. I know cars built march '04 and after can. Am I out of luck. My car feels ancient all of a sudden

you'll need a new tcu (telematics control unit). but kind of pricey, close to $2k :'(. you might also want to do a search. we have a lot of discussions about this topic
