It's not the size of the screen that is the issue -- for me, the issue with a touch screen is the lack of a tactile feedback on your fingertips. Yes, the iPhone's screen is slick but until they can figure out a way to let me "feel" the keys, I'd rather use something else for typing messages...

Gents, this is the true touch phone from RIM it is called "Thunder", these are true images. Check this video clip, the guy is playing with the actual phone. The touch screen is not the typical iPhone touch, you have to press on the glass but I agree with Rudy the BOLD is the way to go for pros, more features and HP double of the processing speed that we have today on the BB's. The only thing I wish for the Bold is to keep downloading my address book to the E60.....

Sure there's more to a phone than texting, for me, I never text but I still rely on a keyboard (rather than a numeric keypad) to utilize my phone to it's full potential. It's clearly no longer just a voice communication device...

If you think $500 is ridiculous, you should see the pricing on the upcoming Nokia N96

They sell the N96 at a chinese mall near me for $800 unlocked! Not crazy about the looks though!
the chinese versions are knock off and don't have gps or wifi. they also have a shittier camera and less memory.
