i get my work email in both my iphone and nokia e71 via push..... i dont know how that makes the RIM stand out..... in fact iphone email is more easy as i can also have my gmail and yahoo etc together now i am confused .....is that it? PUSH email?
Push email is where mail is instantly and automatically sent to an external user or client by a central delivery agent. In this case, the external user would be a BlackBerry or an iPhone. You're right that the iPhone supported "push" email with Yahoo mail since 2007. What is new with the v2 firmware released in July is support for ActiveSync which effectively allows mail delivered to your employer's Exchange Server or Kerio Mail Server (and calendar and contacts) to be pushed to your iPhone (and for mail sent from the iPhone to be sent via your corporate mail gateways). In this respect, the push email capabilities of a BlackBerry and an iPhone are indeed essentially interchangeable as you say.

Looks like some 3G reception issues may need to be ironed out with the Bold prior to release:

I think these kind of issues are pretty much the reason the ship date keeps getting moved later and later...

i'm waiting on the Javelin for TMO. basically the bold w/o 3G, but a 3.2mp camera!

funny story while i was in NYC on vacation. my cousin was talkin' up his new iPhone w/3G. so i challenged him to who can load a page faster. my BB curve vs his 3G iPhone. we both went to sites neither have been to, so nothing cached. long story short, my BB curve loaded almost twice as fast! i was on EDGE and he was "supposedly" on 3G in NYC!

Got my BB Bold today, waited untill close at a Rogers store. Shipment came in 5 minutes before they closed the doors. The phone is AMAZING. I can't really test it out to well right now because I'm busy packing for my trip leaving tomorrow morning at 7:15am. When I come back I'll have full details and pics if someone dosn't beat me to it. As for pairing with my BMW.. PERFECT!!! It sounds amazingly clear, better then the Curve. TTY soon guys!
