Just got a new 8900 from T-Mobile a few days ago.
On the way back from Los Angeles I was successful
at pairing the device and even the address book
transfered. I made some calls and all was good for a while.

After a while the bluetooth connection dropped out
and the little blue light that shows that it's connected
no longer blinked. I also get a notice that the connection failed
when I try to re-establish the connection. It will pair, say successful
then drop out.

I also have an iPhone that pairs flawlessly, and a Motorola Razar
the pairs flawlessly as well.

I haven't tried it today but if anyone has a suggestion
before I give it another go fill me in.

Thanks for the suggestions....

were all the phones paired at once?

I believe 2 phones is the max that can be paired at once...I could be wrong tho.

I do know a number of members have 8900 BB's with out pairing problems, whats the OS version you are running on the BB?

Thanks for the response.

No Not all the phones were paired at once.

Interesting thing though. Went out to the car
turned in the ignition and "BAM" the blackberry
saw the car hooked up all by itself.

Don't ask... I have no clue. You know the old saying
"If it aint broke don't fix it"

The 2 phones max that can be paired at once
is something I will remember though.

We did see where someone said that shutting
everything down and allowing the computer
to go to sleep helps in this regard. This may be
what happened.

Thanks for the help

no worries also, might try and delete the other phones from your iDrive if you are not ever planning on pairing them again.
