I am sure if he doesn't know what a Palm 650 is, the "PDA" hint won't help.
The Palm 650 is a (PDA) personal digital assistant, similar to a Blackberry, that has cell phone, date book, contact management, internet access and other functions.

Actually it is a Treo 650 (which is Palm OS based).
Given that the "cup holders" are in a sense not traditional cup holders, you may run into an issue with those.
You could try one of the many windshiled mounts (suction cup based).
There are some "universal" vent-mounted solutions (kinda crappy IMO).
Or you can try this: My Custom Treo Mount
And now that I learned (and confirmed) that I have that 12V outlet under the dash, it is even better!
