Alpina B5 is bluetooth fitted or not??

I have a 2005 E60 Alpina B5, does anyone know if BMW leave the bluetooth in and its just needs software to activate it, the I control says its not installed, but I was quoted ?1400 to install it, I just dont beleive it, please could anyone advise
