Do you guys think it will be possible to connect the audio mute on an after market bluetooth device? In a regular car stereo there is mostly a wire fore it.
Since I cannot get the settop box for some obscure reason, and the BMW bluetooth retrofit is too expensive and not compatible with the phones I use, i'm thinking of having the following installed:
Sony Ericsson bluetooth

Origin B2
http://www.radar-detector-shop.co.uk.../origin_b2.htm
Bell 966
http://www.radar-detector-shop.co.uk/produ...r_detectors.htm
(I already own one of these)
On the panel in the roof I have only one button, for the sunroof. I was thinking of placing the bluetooth box and the Origin box there. The Bell thing could go in the cubby hole under the light switch.
No thoughts on TV yet, I'm waiting for Iceman and his Freischaltmodul.
Any thoughts anyone?

I think you can. I was thinkinf of installing the Sony Ericsson bluetooth module aswell but not hard wiring it. What i like is that is is very small and has a screen for caller ID.

Parrot DriveBlue is the best option. Just run the microphone to your visor for best sound quality, and you're set.
