Before I pair with the e60 and while on a call, I can use the trackwheel to adjust the volume.
When my 7130e is paired with the e60, and I make or receive a call, the volume function on the handset will not work. I think this is normal.
Here is the problem: Once the phone is un-paired from the e60, I still can't adjust the ear volume while on a call using the handset.
The only way to fix this is to remove the battery.
Verizon wireless can't help and won't sent me on to RIM support.
Anyone else have this issue?

I think you mean when you leave the car the volume wheel still does not work?
as a test have you tried switching off the bluetooth in the phone menu when you leave the car? I had a similar problem with a UK spec 7100 on O2, I did a firmware update which solved the problem.
P.S. I would even try a firmware update with the same version of software if you can't find a later version.
Note: a firmware update will require a reconfig with either the internet accounts or the BES.
Regards,
Paul
