Update from the originator...
Yes, my SA confirmed that he "waives" any charge for BT activation, which goes back to just normal....Thanks for all your support guys!! ? ? ? ?

he has to. he's in trouble if he doesn't waive it. don't make him feel like he's doing you a favor.

Ornament,

Your dealer got caught with his hand in the proverbial cookie jar, which in this case was your pocket.

Am I missing something? They said they would charge you, you complained and now they will wave any charge. What is the problem? Just get your BT initialized and move on.

The problem is the dealer is shady. I would agree with other posters that you should check your contract carefully. Look carefully at the fees like doc fee, termination fee (if it's a lease), etc. AFAIK there is no procedure to initialize bluetooth on '05 cars. It comes ready to go off the boat. It's never too late to kill the deal if the dealer sucks but it is hard to do after waiting 8+weeks.

Ya, it is very hard to kill this deal because I am waiting my new 545 from Sep/04... this is my replaced order...
Again, thanks for all your help and warm words, guys. I feel he suddenly chenged his mind after being threatened by me. I told him your dealership will lose the better-growing reptation in Bay area and plenty of e60 buddies in the internet community confirmed that no one paid BT activation fee on MY05 model.... This e60 has really great power as a wise customer group... Let's keep up our great job here!!!!!

BTW, my car has just arrived at the dealership today, and will be picked up on next Tueday. Will update pics...
