I just bought an '04 525. I couldn't find a bluetooth menu in my iDrive. Was bluetooth a standard featrue on '04? If not, what are my options in installing it?

As I understand it, if your car was manufactured before March 2004, then it requires a TCU module upgrade (something like an $1,800 upgrade).

If it was made from March 2004 till August 2004, it only requires a software upgrade (version 13.2 or later).

if your car was manufactured pre 4-04 and you dont have NAV you could just get the ULF module (as i did).

try doing a search on this, i already posted about it a couple of months ago.
