According remus usa website you can get the L/R system (p/n:086003 198) for $690.00. Just need to add tips. You could get tips anywhere for a lot less.

maybe he meant duals as in cars that use two mufflers like m5 or e39 m5 etc...

The Remus pricing is odd and they do charge a lot for the tip selection, but overall the setup is competitively priced for a dual setup. Yes you could just order the muffler and find your own tips but it may take some work to get the fit and length correct.
