Oh well....I guess I won't be making that drive huh? Can you imagine walking into the Newport Beach CA dealership and looking for Mr. Garry Romali, "I'm here for the discount you promised".

That figures..... hard to believe Newport Beach CA BMW will offer any discounts. They cater to the rich people of OC. I bet more than 80% of their customers are extremely rich , who don't know what "discounts" are.

Actually guys I did get a quote from Gary (service mgr in Newport) and even with shipping, the discount is great!! So, Thanks a lot for posting the info here... Saves me a whole lot of $$$ (to the tune of $1000)

I've just realised that it's not Newport in South Wales (UK) - doh!
D'oh - same mistake here; I doubt Rydale would do an offer like this

I would consider, would also not have to pay sales tax for me which at the least would probably offset shipping costs.

Shipping costs are generally not a factor as they are more than offset by paying no sales tax. Garry offers pricing as good as, and often times better than large volume California dealers like Crevier and Pacific BMW. If you're on the east side of the U.S. I'd highly recommend checking in with Garry. Shipping time is much reduced and cheaper because it's a more local delivery. He's just helped me out with the new bluetooth module, cpt9000 eject box, and the support frame. I should have them by the end of the week, perhaps even Wednesday or Thursday. Can't wait!!

I also plan to order my Style 166 M5 rims from Garry. His pricing was slightly lower than Crevier (not much) and the shipping was also cheaper due to the shorter distance (from RI to NJ in my case) and the quicker transit time make it worth the while. So it's a toss-up, check with Garry if you're on the east coast and check with Crevier or Pacific BMW if you're on the west coast for any BMW parts or accessories.

Enjoy!

Garry Romani is a prince to deal with. Currently have a sport steering wheel with airbag and necessary switches/hardware on order with him.

I correspond by email and Garry is always quick to get back with quotes and or answers.

Highly recommended.

BTW, I also consult realoem.com prior to calling Garry.

IMO:

I'm from Newport, RI (living in Dallas at the moment though) and absolutely wouldn't give them a single dollar's worth of my business . I've had nothing but problems with this dealer. I'm somewhat surprised to hear such goods things. Maybe they're trying to revamp they're customer relations by offering such great deals? Who knows but I'll give them another try!

It's nice to hear a good story coming out of that dealer.
