If you need a light bulb or touch up paint, you might be better off going to your local dealer, but for larger items this is a good deal. For example, I bought a sport exhaust system for my Carrera from an out of state dealer with a similar deal. List was $2,100 + tax = $2,273. I bought for 25% off, no tax (when buying from out of state), plus shipping. So I paid $1,575 + $60 UPS ground shipping (and this was a very large/heavy item), so total was $1,635 vs. $2,273 or 28% ($638) savings. Even for much less expensive items this is a good deal.

I've just realised that it's not Newport in South Wales (UK) - doh!

That Newport BMW is in RI - East of US which cost more for shipping to West of US, especially Bay Area. :)

Duh...me too, I thought it was Newport Beach, CA! But it won't hurt to check price plus shipping.
