My friend is buying a 2007 730d and the car comes equipped with the TV Tuner option. He said you cannot watch the TV above a few mph, I'm assuming safety reasons. I came across another thread about an ACM install and it mentioned you can unplug pin 2 and 19 from the CAN interface plug and that this would disable the speed restriction. Does anyone know where this plug is on the 7?

Also, if you have the TV function do you automatically have the ACM? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Anand

Question.

What is "ACM".
Is this car from the United States?

"Accessory Control Module". This module along with an audio jack will allow you to play various types of media. The 730d is a UK car.

Will this module work on US cars? If so, how much and where?
