My Ride: 2008 550I LOADED, all options except HUD and NV
So as you can read below I have a 530i. My wife currently drives our children round in a 2007 Subaru Tribeca, but she really doesn't like the mileage and the fact that it's an SUV. So we have been looking for a replacement (since we bought the Subie cash shouldn't be too hard to find). She wants a 7 series Li. Any recommendations? Anything I need to look out for? She doesn't mind CPO at all so we will probably do that (especially since I want the M5 when my car is paid off).

Let me get this straight, your wife doesn't like the miliage of the Subaru so she wants to get a 7er Li.... what a great wife! That's bordering on the kind of excuse I would use to justify buying a BMW 
No doubt you can get good deals on the old 7er at the moment or are you after the F1? If its for transporting the kids, then black leather is all I have to say! Talk about being driven to school in style

We are probably going to go CPO, and yes black leather is a must, the Subie has tan leather and I need to detail it twice a month!! The Subie is a noce car, but she likes the size of the 7er and has always complained that my 5er is too small (her opinion even though the child seats fit just fine, surprising because my wife is 5' even and MAYBE 110lbs and somehow thinks the 5er is too small,
)
