lol naw man no clubbin, just out n bout with the wife...

mikey, any luck with the issues? have you tried to adjust logic 7 settings through idrive, are any other speakers popping and/or white noise from rear door speakers? esp at higher volumes?

most bus reset performed?

Sorry guys I was out of town for the weekend.
I'm going to check everything out tomorrow and report back on what I can find out.

So far it seems all speakers work good, I tried adjusting the L7 on/off, volume up down but I cant get nothing out of the driver side sub. It just makes distorted sounds here and there at louder volumes like muffling sounds if that makes sense. To top it off my left fog light just went out and AiB aint replying to my emails so I got to look into that as well now.

Times to fix these issues and sell the girl.

Sunny, thanks for the pm bro... Mikey, sad to hear about your problem, esp afterbeing out of warranty... I will offer my advice, but you are aware these cars think differently than we do...

ASK controls the front speakers and the rear deck speakers... The rear trunk mounted amp controls the subs, center dash, and rear door speakers... By your description, i would assume a bad l7 amp as it is very common for the amp to fail after its internal fans sometimes burn out, thus overheating the unit.... BUT, i have seen a bad ask causes these types of issues as well...

Best solution? Get a friend with a loaner 7 and swap l7 amps and see if your drivers seat sub kicks back in...

I am in frisco right now, but when i get home later tonight i will try to find more info to help u out bro...

Ok heres what I can get, my driver sub is out, as well as both my rear deck speakers.

Amp or ASK? both?

I talked to him over msn, I tried MOST bus reset, no go, I think next step is to buy a L7 amp, if that doesn't do it then ASK.

Just go for something very high quality. Boston Acoustics is what I HIGHLY recommend, not to many people think about it, but the people who hve their products never look back, myself included!

Here goes, what a mess........

Replaced L7 amp sub kicks back in and all is well until car is idling with no sound I can hear the sub making humming sounds, when I rev. the car the sub humming with the RPM. 2 days later driving my car throw transmission codes, passenger restraint error etc etc.

Shut car down for 30 mins, restart all codes go away except the passenger restraint code. Sub is still making humming sounds with the cars rpm even when I put stock sub back in????

Low battery? Main + terminal cable NFG?

the humming sound is probably due to a bad ground connection somewhere
