idrive, I have a 2004 and no problems with it, it could be better but I?m not unhappy

noob questions...i.e. - everyone seemed to have a problem with the idrive when it first came out and obviously i know what the e65/e66 signifies
next time ill think twice when trying to make a joke...

Hey guys. I need some help. I just picked up a 2002-1/2 745Li with 150,000 pampered miles. I got a smoking deal on this thing. I only paid $9,000 out the door. This is my first BMW, and I love this thing. It is 50X better than my lifted Cutlass was.
Here is where I need some help.
- The little spinning plate on top of the center console does not navigate me throught the menu screen.
- The radio has no sound coming out of it.
- I kept it professional and spent a whole $2,000 for some brand new, top of the line, 26" rims with tires made for BMW, but why is it rubbing? It has rubber bands, but its still rubbing.
- After I installed my 6" lif kit, there is some creaking coming out from the suspension
