When did the 745d go from 300 to 330hp? Is there any difference in the hardware between the two?

BMW 745d: the most powerful diesel luxury saloon.
Entering the 2006 model year, BMW's top-of-the-range 745d diesel now boasts significantly more power and torque. With maximum output of 242 kW/330 hp and peak torque of 750 Nm/553 lb-ft, the BMW 745d remains the diesel luxury saloon with the highest power and torque.
Offering enormous power reserves at all times, this unique diesel accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h or 155 mph (electronically limited). Despite the increase in engine output and torque, fuel consumption remains an astoundingly low 9.5 litres/100 km or 29.7 mpg Imp.

In Germany you can pick up a half year old 745d with 5-6000km for 70 000 euros including German VAT,

Jesus, what happened to that Saab of yours?! My dad has got the same one ('03 Aero) but in silver/black leather. If it catches fire though I think I'll let it burn

Loved that car, twas amazingly fast, but time moves on, and the E60 is beautiful, miss the grunt though....
Just out of interest, could it keep up with a 535d? I remember when I had the Aero, nothing this side of an M3 could keep up with it... (I remember Jeremy Clarkson reviewing it on Top Gear, saying that in 2nd gear from 40-70mph, it was quicker than a 911 Turbo! )

I'd like to know since when was there a 745d!! Can't find one for the UK market, goes up to 730d, guess it's not here yet, but I've never seen anything about that engine! Just imagine a 545d!!! wow!
1. Does the 745d have the sequential turbo that's in the 535d?
2. Will it fit in the 5-series (3. A twin turbo 545d would be BONKERS :'( )
Just googled and learned the following:
745d V8 - 330hp / 750Nm
Phaeton V10 - 313hp / 750Nm
3. Does that make the 745d the most powerful stock diesel engine in any car?
4. From the looks of things the 745d will be faster than ANY other 7 - is that right ?
5. What could a remap achieve on a twin turbo 545d ?
6. Are BMW thinking about an M diesel?
