Hi, Can anyone help me locate a Paddle shift kit for my 2005 645? I have bought a M paddle steering wheel but need the wiring, CA automotive were advertising them but have sent my money back saying they're not available for the E63.

Thanks

John.

Any delay at all when using the paddles to shift? When you press the button is the response instant?

lol tell me about it. I initially didn't have the $ to throw at a steering wheel and paddles so I just modded my existing steering wheel with push buttons so I could at least shift with those. Not that bad actually but then when some $ freed up I got the steering wheel. The wiring stays the same so theoretically you could just go with the pushbuttons for now and then when you see a good deal on a steering wheel swap it out.

Are you talking about the buttons next to the volume and track up/down buttons on steering wheel?
