i just purchased shifter and harnnes from the guy in the thread on bf.i p.m.ed him, he said he traded in his 5,and had the parts in perfect cond.150 shipped for everything! i will post pics when put in.

...So what's going on?

 

Waiting for the parts to get in so i can wire it up but basically you will be able to choose how you want the shifter to light up yourself.

The regular step shifter on the baseplate has the following LEDs light up depending on where the shifter is:
P
R
N
D->M/S

On the SMG shifter you have:
R
N
D/S

Since the M6 shifter doesn't have P so you can choose between:
P and N lights up N on the SMG shifter OR P doesn't light up anything and just N lights up N on the SMG shifter
