O.K. Thanks,
I thought they might install the new D.I engine and new gearbox.( as the e60 and e63 share very similar platforms)

perhaps you are a member from outside of the US, your profile does not say....in that case, there MAY be something new for you at some point, aka a 635i or something; but in the US, we do not get the 6er in a V6 offering so its not something we'd hear about...as for the tranny, that would probably be updated in September with the MY changes over, but that would NOT be something Id wait 9 months to buy for, as the current step is already silkysmooth

Thanks for the reply m630,
I live in England. I previously owned a 535d and 630.
I'd like another 630 ( I took a break to buy a 997) but I'd rather have the new 3 litre as it's two bands lower on our road tax( based on emmisions) as well as more power.
Regards
Simon

welcome and good luck ...if I were you, I'd wait a bit since perhaps you will get the opportunity to have that twin turbo 6 to make a 635i model later in the year when the '08s come out... and if you go into your control panel (see 'my controls' menu on top) you can update your signature as well as location ...mike
