I searched but didn't find exactly what I was looking for...

The service indicator is coming up to change the microfilters and I was wondering if these are the same as the BMC filters that RPi offers? I would much rather get those instead of regular filters, if they are one and the same...

the microfilters are for the air that goes into the cabin, not into the engine

Yeah they are the cabin air filters. You might get more HP if you can manage to fit a BMC high flow filter in there though
