when standing from outside is the 645i coupe quite a bit lounder than the 645i cabrio or is it just me then (when you rev them)?

Why not just pay someone to close the doors for you?

My Ride: 530i Touring, M Sport, build date 10/05, Silver Grey, Black leather, Maple Anthracite, Anthracite roof lining, panorama roof, M Aerodynamic, M Steering wheel, M Sport suspension, sport seats, shadow line, 135 M wheels, Goodyear NCT 5 runflats, and some other stuff too.
A friend bought a 645 last year. I went for the test drives with him and also when he drove the DB9, more expensive but makes mincemeat of the 645. He ultimately went the less costly and more conservative route. I have driven it a few times since and can't say I am that impressed. It does everything well and nothing brilliantly. Also for such a big car that claims to be a four seater the interior is better suited to successful jockeys and their 4 year old children than those of us of above average stature.

hmmm, who are you gonna believe, someone who "heard" it once at a dealer for a second, without reference of course, or someone who's had both of them together, next to each other running, and happens to own one....there is no discernable audible difference in the exhaust sounds at idle, he just probably doesnt realize how loud the 645 is too, but if it makes you happy to think its louder, then cheers!
