I don't understand your concern here... They will still have a 2-dr 6-Series, and if you don't like the 4-dr version you simply don't buy it. Why stress over an individual model you don't like?
Is there any automaker out there that meets your approval for every single model they produce? Unless you're planning on making a collection and buying every single one of them, again, I don't get it.
There is obviously a market for 4-dr fastbacks, or coupes as they insist on calling them, so why shouldn't BMW compete?

I do not ever stress...ever. People or cars disappoint me - then I ditch em.
I think the 6er will looses its exclusivity...save the 4 doors for the 3, 5 and 7
