huh? Where did you hear this from

I don't understand your concern here... They will still have a 2-dr 6-Series, and if you don't like the 4-dr version you simply don't buy it. Why stress over an individual model you don't like?

Is there any automaker out there that meets your approval for every single model they produce? Unless you're planning on making a collection and buying every single one of them, again, I don't get it.

There is obviously a market for 4-dr fastbacks, or coupes as they insist on calling them, so why shouldn't BMW compete?

I do not ever stress...ever. People or cars disappoint me - then I ditch em.

I think the 6er will looses its exclusivity...save the 4 doors for the 3, 5 and 7

It was mentioned in automobile mag and here is a link to another article:

If BMW makes a stupid move like that - it will take me a nano second to change to another true sports car.

Don't mean to come across like I'm arguing with you. You have a right to any opinion of course. But, IMO, BMW is not a 'sports car' company. They have some very sporting models, and the various M-series could be classified as sports cars by some folks, but I've never seen them as a player in that exclusive, rather small market.

Bah, lets all ditch our BMW's for Lexus

4-Door Coupe is an oxymoron.

sixcard :)
