From the 2009 BMW Ordering Guide ...
The MY2009 6 series will start production in September 2008.
Colors, Trims & Upholstery
- BMW Individual adds Ruby Red Metallic (replaces Brilliant White) and Azurite Black Metallic (replaces Midnight Blue).
- BMW Individual upholstery Rust Brown (replaces Canyon Brown)
Packages
- Sport package adds Contoured Hood
,Black Chromed exhaust tips, Sportier sounding exhaust, Anthracite headliner, and exclusive exterior colors (Imola Red and Carbon Black Metallic).
Cool stuff.

brilliant white, is metallic i believe, alpine is just straight white.. Theres also another white which is more creamy to the color... (believe offered in individual)
