It’s easy to become attached to a car after driving it for a long time. Most people give up before 200,000 miles at most, but some love their cars so much, they’re willing to hold on to it for much longer. I don’t blame Randy Balingit Hartmann, the owner of this e28 M5, for doing exactly that. He calls it the unassuming BMW. I agree, but not just because it’s a powerful car in a low-key package. Just from looking at his car, I would’ve never assumed it had 400,000 miles on it.

It looks too clean to be that well worn, but that’s just the result of an owner who clearly cares for his things. Even better, is that he drives his car like it deserves to be driven. Do you plan to to drive your BMW to 400k? Let us know in the comments!
