Studies Show BMW Drivers are Discourteous

You may have heard your friends complain about aggressive BMW drivers. Now there are statistics that back up their criticism.

One study at the University of California, Berkeley found BMW motorists less likely to stop for pedestrians entering crosswalks. The study discovered drivers of higher-priced cars, not just BMWs, were more prone to discourteous behavior; however, UC Berkeley Researcher Paul K. Piff told the New York Times, “BMW drivers were the worst.”

Another study conducted in the U.K. specifically identified males aged 35-50 driving blue BMWs as the most aggressive behind the wheel.
