Social Media Worth Following: E60 M5 Touring Edition
If you need some V10 M5 in your life, check out these awesome awesome M-series super enthusiast.
It is tough to argue against the E60 M5 for being a bit special among the M5’s long history. With a howling V10 engine, polarizing looks, and relatively new-found affordability, we felt it was time to search out for some cool M5’s on social media. It didn’t take long to find some great content.
Mike Phillips has one of those rides, and we discovered his Instagram and YouTube channels. Better yet, he has the special version of the special version of the E60 M5 because it’s one better – the E61 M5 Touring. With limited production numbers, we can’t help but admire a long-roof M5. Taking inspiration from the intake holes in the E9X hood (or bonnet, as Phillips lives in the UK), Phillips has some cool pages to watch.
If you are the type that appreciates daily driven cars, Phillips has no problem slapping a set of snow tires on the M5 and heading out into the snow. And of course with snow comes donuts. That is just a given. Considering most of us are gear heads of any denomination, it’s also cool to see that he has a 525D and Ford Escort rally car. Of course, it only makes sense to bring the 525D back to its homeland at the Nurburgring, the track action doesn’t stop there. Tarmac rally and track day videos are aplenty with the Escort.
Instead of searching for more social media channels to follow, we figure it would be a great opportunity to share your own here. Obviously the prerequisite would be to have a channel focused primarily any generation 5-series, but other BMW makes and models are welcome as well!
