BMW Group DesignworksUSA Brings a Touch of BMW Luxury to the Skies

The luxurious feel of a BMW shouldn’t be confined to automobile driving. Thanks to BMW Group DesignworksUSA, BMW luxury can be found many places, even while flying the friendly skies.

Hop on a Singapore Airlines first-class flight, and you’ll enjoy a familiar luxurious experience. DesignworksUSA was tasked with making Singapore Airlines’ first class experience more pampering to the senses. Drawing on their storied past in working with the aviation industry, such as designing interiors for Boeing Business Jets, DesignworksUSA has given Singapore Airlines’ first-class passengers higher levels of comfort using the knowledge gained from automotive interior design to enhance space optimization, privacy and overall functionality.

Each first-class passenger’s “lounge-like island” was designed with the same attention to detail involved in BMW Group’s automotive designs.

The design update launches in September aboard Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-300ERs flying between Singapore and London.
