The next 5-series is a looong way off, but the current one is due for a face lift in 2015. BMW has been testing the car since last october, and not much has changed with these new shots. We can definitely be sure that they’re changing the headlights on the new model. It is a facelift, so that should probably be expected. The 5-series trademark “angel eyes” have taken on a decidedly squarer shape. I anticipate we’ll be seeing a lot of that on the newer models. That style first made it’s debut on the i8 concept. Since then, they’ve trickled down to the new 4-series and will probably propagate throughout BMW’s design language.
