Default M-Performance Power Kit for F10 - 535ix

UPDATE: April 2, 2016

After 11 months of owning the 2015 535ix, I have purchased the Performance power kit from BMW along with the Black Kidney Grill.
It did as promised but I would say not totally. It was advertised to give EXTREMELY SPORTY EXHAUST SOUND, 20HP and added torque which was to given me elasticity in lower speed and higher speed.

Well, the exhaust sound slightly changed and performance did improve but mostly at higher speed. For the first two days it felt the same but as I began to push the limits, somehow the car began to breathe and suddenly on the third day, the beast was unleashed. Majority of the difference is felt while moving toward higher speeds.

So I would say yes it is worth it but you have to give it time after install and PUSH THE LIMITS OF THE CAR so it learns and adjusts. That's what it did for me.

Wondering if this is worth it. 320HP and about 340 Torque. If you have got this please reply and what you like about it.

Until the dealer did a software update and now I had to get the OBD cable. Now all works again.

I can't chime in for the 5 series.. but I did the drive event for the 4 series..

The performance package was all done up with every option, which was nice.. Sounded great, performed better.

However, I got back into my E60 and I don't have a lot.. JB4 DCI and a cat-back.. but it definitely had a lot more go than the M performance package.

Yes.. warranty is kind of important.. so if you're worrying about it.. just do the m performance, or go get a dinan tune. There's so much talk about whether BMW can monitor the boost etc from JB4, Cobb or any other aftermarket..
