My Ride: 2004 545i
Default

I have a January 2004 build 545i, so I don't have bluetooth.

I installed a Dension Gateway 500 and coded the car for MP3 playback. The Gateway is working well, it plays iPods and can stream audio over bluetooth as well.

I am not trying to enable the bluetooth menu on iDrive so I can use the Denision for phone calls as well. Has anybody had success doing this?

The only way I was able to use the iDrive menu to see my BT phone was to have it programmed via a autologic program. I did both at the same time.

Can you see your phone if you press the up button on the iDrive?

Regards,
Troy
