Main reason? Arguably the quickest 535 2008 ( my retired car) in the last few years. New ones just don't feel as quick and test 0-60 times confirm. So go to 550. Not to mention the cool dual exhausts.

On to Verona, Italy. In a small alley way we stumbled upon the "castle" of the famed Romeo and Juliet. Thousands of "wads of gum" stuck to the walls? Yuck.

Statue of Juliette. Her right breast has the patina worn off, as visitors climb on the stand, cup her breast and take a picture. I had to wait 10 minutes to snap this pic as people were all over the statue. WHO DOES THAT?

Colosseum in Verona. Still used for concerts etc. Good part of it sure shows it's age. Here in the states it would be unusable and probably condemned. A lot less lawyers over there!

On to Innsbruck Austria. Just country side and great roads,not like here. No potholes in the cities and ALL Autobahns pristine. By the way; look closely as only 10% of Austria is mountain free! Rare pic.

Our hotel ( ski chalet) in Austria. Wonderful place, beautiful views, windy switchback road 3-4 miles up a mountain. Car handled like a dream. Wife white knuckled all the way. Again, no lawyers and hardly any guard rails. You screw up you probably die.

Spent the night in Munich, but one last quick trip to a small medieval town Rettenburg. Not to be confused with Rottenburg. Rettenburg is known for it's small alley like streets. Do not try to drive in the center city, as of course, I did. I got caught in a large area and it was JUST like trying to drive in the Mall of America! 100's of people walking to shops, but they were fine with me driving. They just ambled out of the was but it was sure stressful. Park your car and walk. This photo is of the best bratwurst place I have found. It is well know for at least the last 100 yrs. Find it by the river and be hungry!

Of, course stuck in Philly for 20 hours! Canceled flight after stringing us along for 9 hours with a promise every couple of hours of, "flight leaving in 1/2 hour. As per pic, this was supposed to leave at around 3:00PM, at 10:00 PM CANCELED?!?!

2014 550 xi & 2004 325 xi safe at home in garage, finally. Why finally? I live in PA they shipped my car to California! Took almost 12 weeks from ED. Got apologies and a check for 1 month's payment! Still ED is a great way to go. Will do it again if I can pry my wife's keys from her hand, she just loves her 325. Thanks for sharing my trip, enjoy yours. Tom

Here in Oberammergau, for a litght lunch and the best cappuccino we had the whole trip, including Italy. Continuing on to Munich, ( after the obligatory shopping), for our last two days in Germany, at least for this trip. NOTE: Wife wanted this pic instead of what was there originally. So this belongs between #6 & #7 so call it 7 1/2.
