But the good news is that we have successfully installed it today on the E60 550i.
It took a little more work than expected but the great news? you can mount everything inside the headlight and nothing gets hot
We left the car on for over 1 hour with no ill effects.We'll post side by side comparison photos shortly.

It's official, the E60 not only fits, but is totally self-enclosed and here's the key:
No FM reception problems. For that matter, no AM reception. No interference whatsoever.
No PDC interference.
No heat build up.
Straight plug and play (though headlight removal really isn't necessary, it's certainly pretty easy and makes the install 10X easier.
And now, without further ado, photos on the car. Remember, taken on a sunny day with basically direct sunlight streaming into our shop. So night photos will make it more sharp (daylight is 5500K and our product is 6000K which makes for a lack of contrast in the daytime).

I also second my fellows -yeah we are minority but its OK
- who think that oem surronds nicely the Xenons, so some yellowish-orenge would be nice, price and time for wait is not issue if we get all we need

is it possible to get night shots of the vehicle? the daylight just doesn't do justice to the ice.
btw, does it only come in 6000k?? wondering if the piaa's are brighter because they come in 6500k??? thanks.

Ok, let me explain, since this topic never ceases to be brought up:
KELVIN = K = COLOR <-- ONLY COLOR NOT OUTPUT.
Put another way, K - aka 6500K 800000000000000K <-- COLOR only. Not output.
PIAA can have 40000K and it won't be brighter? Why? Because it's inversely correlated to KELVIN <-- that means that the HIGHER in K you go, the LOWER the actual output.
