Why not start a group buy thread. Or at least get a list going in this one...

I'm still in.

I used to fly by the ETR-407 thinking I didnt need to pay. LOL. Then came a nasty bill. Wasn't so nasty. Around $60 but saved a lot of time cuz there's no traffic and I was driving top speed.
Ah John,
I forgot you told me earlier that you used to come over to Toronto from Buffalo to visit Pacific Mall. (God only knows why though. haha). You've got experience on our crazZy expensive toll routes. That license plate would pay for itself in 2 weeks. In Canada they are not allowed to capture an image of the individual in the vehicle (we still have some privacy laws left), they can only take a snapshot of the license plate itself.....or lack thereof in this case.

Is the install of this pretty hard? How much does it stick out under the bumper?

Install is easy. If you can install Orion V2. This is a piece of cake. The center metal sticks out about a 1/4" or whatever it takes for the license plate takes to come out.

At first I wanted John to install for me. I didn't want to install it. But he was busy at the shop. So he told me how to install it. I saw how he mounted it. It comes with instructions on how to install it.

- Cut out the grill with metal shears and a sawzall.
- Mark and drill the holes. Insert the plastic plugs with the thread into the bumper cover.
- Remove one the kidney grill.
- Mount the metal strip onto the retractable bracket.
- Bend the metal strip and mount 1 screw to the metal bumper structure. It's best to drill a hole then use a self tapping screw.
- Wire the positive lead to the postive terminal. The negative lead gets connected to a ground screw under the headlight.
- Connect the other positive and negative wires to the retractable license plate and you're done.
