It would be good to see how bright these are compared to the newer bmw's with OEM led angel eyes as well

I don't know, man. That's a pretty serious statement - they'd have to not only be a LOT brighter than 2.1's, but also have the kind of original modern look, that Orion's LEDs provide. I don't think there's anything that can look better than Orions, but I may - of course - be wrong. I'd say like this though: if they are as bright or brighter, as the new AE's on E92's and F10's, they are of interest to me - this would mean that the AEs on my E60 would finally be bright enough to be used as DRLs. Finally!

And PnP is a real plus over the v2's.

Anyway, where are the friggin pics already?!

Guys, be patient. Read post #1. I'll have some coming next week. THen I'll compare with MTEC V2.1 (if possible), Motorcepts 5W V2, and then MTEC 3.0.

While I think the Orions would still be brighter, I would like to see a side by side comparison anyway between that and the V3. V3 vs. V2.1 comparison is a given must.

I saw an E92 LCI with the AE's on today in pretty bright daylight - if these are like that...

Here are some preliminary pictures. I got the MTEC V3 this morning. Had been busy all day. It's freakin bright!!! Still can't be compared to the Motorcepts HID Angel Eyes which utilizes 35W HID Bulbs nor th Orions since they are LED replacement rings but these are the brightest plug and play EVER!!! Yes they are expensive but it's worth the money. More pictures coming up.

JUST BULBS:

BTW, pictures of LEDs are ALWAYS deceiving. The rings DO NOT get washed out. It's hard to capture it. It's even even circular ring. And don't compare different pictures since these pictures are taken from an iphone. Compare the bulbs in the same picture. This gives you a better idea on how much brighter it is compared to the other bulb.
