What if you don't have nav will this still work?

Yes, it will work as long as you have iDrive and regualr screen (6.5")

does this work for my 2004 e60 with no nav and small screen? My car was built aug. 2003.

Yes, it works with regular screen (6.5") as well.

Just ordered it--I can't wait to put it in.

I will et you know how it goes. I may need some "hand holding" but I will try not to bee a big PIA.

Interface module comes with 3 AV inputs which means you can connect any devices up to 3 via RCA cables at same time.

However, to have video playback feature, AUX input is a requirement.

Its VERY VERY easy to install. Even the backup camera doesn't take much effort. Everything is plug and play. I had installed one on my sisters e60.
