Thanks John, do you know if the hid kit will fit on a 1 series too, I've got my eye on 1. I will be changing in a month or so and it's likely not to have xenon.
Am I right in thinking they are $160 + $30 shipping.

If so PM me the details please, is PayPal fine? How long does shipping normally take to the UK?

They've arrived, quicker than most things from europe and they look great. I'll post some photo's when the install is complete.
Install wise, from the looks of the kit,
Drill a hole in the back of the bulb cover to fit the rubber grommit, the 2 spade connectors plug into the cars bulb holder, install the bulb. refit cover.
Ballast side just plug the wire into there sockets and mount the ballast.

One thing, I'm at work so can't check, the 2 spade connectors are colour coded, is the wiring on the bulb holder coded too, If so which colours go to which. I'm guess that they won't be the same colours as the HID Kit.

now installed, they look great. nice and simple to install, ballast are under the lights so you cant see them.

John, im having a problem with the lights. Here a video of the problem

Ive note noticed it before or when the lights are on auto.
Once the car has been to sleep and is started then the lights are turned on by the switch i get the little orange car and red lines and the abs light flash up for a second.
I can turn them off and on again, even start the car again and there fine, it appears to only happen once the car has been to sleep.

Anyone else had this problem or is it my car been special.

seems like ur battery is giving up.

it had a brandnew one from bmw at the begining of the year. not sure its that.
any other ideas?

possible alternator. was the battery ever registered/coded for the car?
