Eloy did mention that they are doing a workaround

I'm working with Vincent from Bimmerzone and have been in touch with RPI representatives. I've done the research, if Eloy from RPI can do this, I'll take the plunge. Keep everyone posted.

What is the workaround for the vacuum-operated butterfly valve in the OE muffler, when installing this RPi cat-back system?

I did the golf tee mod when I installed my Remus exhaust.

RPi and Eloy were the ones to install my exhaust, and I can confirm that they use a method similar to the "golf tee mod." He sealed the vacuum hose with a well-fitting screw and tucked it in above my rear bumper. Works fine so far, no issues, and awesome exhaust overall.

The videos on the product page are of my actual car. I'll upload my own video up here when I get a chance to do it. Cold start ups are the best
