For $1,500 for full cat-back, I could get behind that. I am most concerned about shipping though. What would shipping run to Nor Cal?

Also..will this have race cats so it passes smog in CA?

Thanks.

You can't put headers on a car with turbos. You can't have catless Down Pipes and expect to pass any emissions.

The term "Cat-back" actually means everything AFTER the catalytic converter - thus I highly doubt $1500 will get you anything more than exhaust pipes and a muffler. I'd be impressed if it does. Getting any type of high-performance part to pass CA emissions is a completely different story.

wow, and i thought parts for my supra were expensive. it is a very nice piece though.
however, i can't really justify paying that much for an exhaust system that might make 10hp. if your looking for performance, a tune would be more cost effective.
also, i just saw a post by trinity, most of the exhausts they're selling from RPi are under $1k, what makes this different?
good luck with the sale though, looks like a high quality product. i'll be watching for updates.

Hi
All the RPI systems under 1k are axle back ones.... the 535i unit will have connecting pipes
Once we have finally all specs and price, we will let everyone know. So far it seems like we might be able to do it around $1500 to $1750 for the Group Buy
Retail in the future will surely be around $2k (the previous batch back in 2010 was selling for 2.4k)
