Can you pm me a quote as well.

2008 528xi front and rear rotor drilled and pads as well. Hawks are fine

2006 325xi front and rear Rotor and pads. What ever cheapest works.

Do you include necessary fluids?

Thank you

I used a tape ruler. I know my measurement is not super accurate, but my concern is still the same - do you have the thickness of your premium rotor (drilled/slotted)? Want to compare with the minimum thickness printed on the rotors, so I know how much wear it allows.

And if next time I change my pads, the rotors are at or slightly below this minimum thickness, assuming I decides not to resurface the rotors and instead just put on new pads (I did this in all my other cars), will the rotors still have to be replaced? In another word, is the minimum thickness for resurfacing purpose only?

Thanks!

If you're using a 12" ruler it's probably not that exact you'll want to use a caliper

Michael,

Did you get a chance to find out the answer to my questions? Pls see my original posting (and below is my follow up to your earlier email response where you said will look into this).

Thanks!

Folks - so the rotor allows wear out of 1.6mm over its life. Is this a reasonable wear out thickness? Trying to figure out whether this rotor will live with just one set of pads or more?

Thank you Michael for the info!

Most of us will run rotors past their minimum wear and not even notice. If you do a Google search for minimum rotor wear and you'll see other cars have similar wear thickness.
