RPi GT/S Full Exhaust System - BMW E60 M5
GT - MFG PN RP-EG107R / MSRP - $2,882.00
GTS - MFG PN RP-EG107RS / MSRP - $2,999.00

RPi's GT/S exhaust system for the BMW E60 M5 offers aggressive race car sound and performance. Crafted proudly in the United States out of high quality T-304 stainless steel, the GT/S system shares the same design as the ST street system with the exception of no catalytic converters. The RPi GTS system is identical as the GT system except it is about 15-20% more subdued in db levels. One can expect approximately 17hp and 15 ft/lb torque gains and a weight savings of over 50lbs from the bulky OEM equipment.

*Above dyno chart performed on an E63 M6 (identical S85 engine as E60 M5) with the RPi GT system + RPi Ram Air Induction Kit
RPi's GT/GTS exhaust system includes all clamps and mounting hardware for a 100% bolt on installation. The RPi GT/GTS system consists of Section 1 (secondary cat delete), section 2 (hybrid x-pipe / resonator delete) and section 3 (rear muffler cans). One can substitute the straight pipe section 1 with a section 1 w/ high flow cats (dual meter core 100 cell) for an additional charge of $175.00.
Features:
- T304 Stainless Steel
- Made in the United States
- Consists of Section 1 / 2 / 3
- Includes All V-Band Flanges & Clamps
- 100% bolt on installation
- Limited Lifetime Warranty
- plus 17 hp
- plus 15 ft/lb tq
- minus 50+ lbs from OEM equipment
RPi GT Headers for the S85 Engine
MFG PN RP-H1001
MSRP $6,995.00*
*Includes $1200 core fee which is refunded once the customer's original headers are returned to RPi in good condition.

RPi's GT S85 Engine header manifold kit offers performance, quality and flexibility. With an especially designed expansion chamber, torque is increased dramatically in the low and mid range while giving a significant horsepower increase throughout the entire powerband. The RPi header set allows the user to switch between the factory catalytic converter and the race pipe via a specially designed v-band clamp, this is especially convenient for customers who want to be able to easily swap their cats for smog emissions purposes. Peak power gains are approximately 15hp and 35 ft/lb of torque.

Hey Cal, you have a typo on the power gains for the headers. It's 28whp and 31wtq. See this thread here: http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60...whp-31wtq.html
Also, I know RPI's website is not updated but I was told that they no longer make the GT system; just ST and GTS.
That said, +10000000000000000 for this stuff. I've yet to see a comparably equipped M5/M6 with another brand beat an RPI car. I had full RDSport power mods (headers, race cats, x pipe, exhaust, pulley, tune...) and still lost to an RPI car with same mods but without a tune. Finally swallowed my pride and made the switch. Couldn't be happier.

More information from Eloy@RPI. Quoted from M5Board.
Here is the dyno from today. This is done with STOCK exhaust sections 1, 2, & 3! As you all know, the effect of the power gains from headers should be higher with a better flowing exhaust downstream of it.
The black lines are with the stock system. In other words, with the stock main cat bolted in (and with stock exhaust, of course).
The red lines are with the straight pipe bolted on, replacing the stock main cat (again, with stock section 1, 2, & 3).
The green lines are with a different straight pipe design which we were testing. Since it did not show any gain, and in fact a slight loss up top, we did not go with this design.

Note note only the sizable gains at the top, but the even bigger gains in the midrange. The torque difference in the 5600RPM range is substantial, and the overall power under the curve increases quite a bit. Again, the gains would be even better with our full GT or ST set up.
Here is the dyno from another manufacturer's headers on the same dyno machine. Although there are some nice gains up top, there is actually a midrange drop in power where our package shows a gain throughout. Another thing to note, this one benefitted from a complete aftermarket exhaust sections 1, 2, &3, whereas ours was cobbled to the stock exhaust:

Here's our a look at a preproduction version of our system. The production one will be just slightly different:

Special machines flanges using all factory mounting brackets.

Specially machined flange for stock cat makes your race pipe to stock cat swap a breeze.

RPi quality and precision welding.

When it's time to smog your car, the stock cat, which we flanged, bolts back on quickly and easily:
