We expect it to be there on Sunday afternoon. The photos and documentation is done, just needs to be pieced together.
Okay great. If it can be up there sooner that would be even better. My buddy/installer is coming from out of town to help me on this, so if this is possible to do in an afternoon, then that'll be fine. Otherwise, please try to have it up on Saturday?

Anyway, very fair and competitive offering at $249 for the install. Would probably opt for that if I was up in the Bay.

Just got my package today and opened it a minute ago...

Here's what the ring look like on the Umnitza's product page (it has alligator clips):

Not sure if I should be concerned, but here's what my rings look like (does not have clips on all 4 rings, looks like it was broken off -- intentionally?):

Clarification please. The product page http://www.umnitza.com/umnitza-predator-or...nly-p-5680.html talks about multi-stage clipping... which in my case, it's more like no clipping? What the...

Simon, for the E60, there is nothing to clip to, the ring free hangs. Because of how nearly impossible it is for most customers to remove the clips - we do it for you.

The rings for the E60 need to be updated on the site to reflect that fact, the E46s are the only ones that need the clipping system.

---
To light them up, please do three things:
1) get a power and ground - 12V source
2) do not look directly at them
3) Do it in a well lit room, otherwise, they will blind you.

So just checking, is the guide on track to be on site tomorrow?

I have had the chance to test out the rings yet, as my only 12v power source is from my car... unless someone can suggest another method for me to test.

We should be done with a rudimentary guide tomorrow.
As for the testing, it's really just popping the hood and power and ground. very easy

Guide almost up? I just checked the site and it's not there yet...

As for testing, my buddy that will be doing the install for me told me to wait for him. He doesn't want me to potentially damage it, lol.
